RelyAssets, a company focused on sustainable infrastructure investments, successfully raised more than €2.3 million to finance the construction of a battery energy storage system in Puławy, Poland. The project consists of a battery storage system with a power output of 4 MW and a storage capacity of 16 MWh. Entrix will optimize and market the asset across all relevant energy markets, including ancillary services as well as day-ahead and intraday trading. Through its AI-based multi-market optimization, Entrix enables dynamic and efficient commercialization of the battery storage system while continuously adapting to changing market conditions.

The battery storage project is currently under construction and is expected to go live in September 2026. For RelyAssets, rapid project execution, close collaboration, and Entrix’s extensive experience in battery storage commercialization were key factors in selecting Entrix as its optimization partner. Entrix also brings deep expertise in prequalification processes and battery trading across European energy markets.

“This agreement demonstrates that even smaller, innovative merchant BESS projects can play an important role in Poland’s flexibility market. Puławy BESS is especially exciting because it combines merchant market exposure, advanced optimization and an innovative financing structure. At Entrix, we are proud to support RelyAssets in bringing this asset to market and in showing how AI-powered trading can unlock the full value of battery storage in Poland. What stands out most is the close and highly collaborative partnership that has been built on trust and shared ambitions from the very beginning.”

Aleksandra Radwańska, Managing Director Poland at Entrix

“The successful investment for our Puławy project clearly demonstrates the growing confidence in battery storage as a key pillar of the energy transition. With Entrix, we found a partner that combines extensive expertise in battery storage optimization and commercialization with a highly collaborative approach throughout the entire development process. We were particularly impressed by Entrix’s technical know-how, strong understanding of the Polish market, and long-term partnership mindset. Together, we are building the foundation for a commercially successful and future-proof storage project.”

Emeric Gouraud, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at RelyAssets

“Poland is one of the most dynamic energy storage markets in Europe, and this project marks another important step in supporting the country’s energy transition. Together with Entrix and our partners, we are committed to delivering a reliable storage solution that will support grid stability and the continued integration of renewable energy sources.”

Jan Mizerski, Business Development Lead Poland at RelyAssets

The Puławy project reflects a broader development in the Polish energy market, where battery storage systems are becoming increasingly important. As renewable energy capacity continues to grow, flexible storage solutions are essential to ensure grid stability and improve the efficient use of renewable electricity.

In addition to the Polish project, RelyAssets is already launching new initiatives in the battery storage sector, including the building of a 20 MW project in Chile.

With projects such as the Puławy battery storage system, Entrix continues to expand its presence in the European battery storage market. The company has now contracted more than 3 GW of battery power capacity and 8.5 GWh of storage capacity across Europe with final investment decisions secured. More than 2 GW of this portfolio is expected to become operational by the end of 2026. Entrix currently optimizes and markets a growing portfolio of more than 70 battery storage systems across Europe, ranging from standalone storage assets to co-location solar-plus-storage projects.
