The battery storage system in Balzhausen, developed by green flexibility, has an output of 40 megawatts (MW) and a capacity of just under 90 megawatt-hours (MWh) and has been successfully in commercial operation for several weeks. Entrix is responsible for the AI-powered optimization and marketing of the asset, demonstrating how battery storage systems can be operated economically even with limited grid connection capacities.

DRI has selected Entrix as optimization partner for its 133 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) in Trzebinia, southern Poland. The project is among the first large-scale battery assets in Poland to secure a 17-year Capacity Market contract, commencing in 2027, and is currently the largest BESS in the country with a capacity market obligation starting that year.
