WV Energie AG selects Entrix to optimize and market its first battery storage system in Bavaria
WV Energie AG is building its first battery energy storage system (BESS) in the Wertachtal region of Bavaria, with a capacity of 6.88 MWh. The system is connected to the grid via the grid connection point of a WV-operated solar park but operates fully independently. Entrix has been selected to handle the technical optimization and commercial marketing of the asset across all relevant energy markets.

65 MWh Battery Storage Facility by W Power Planned for Worms – Entrix Chosen as Optimization Partner
A new battery storage system with 30 MW power and 65 MWh capacity is currently under construction in the city of Worms, Rhineland-Palatinate. To optimize and market the asset, W Power Renewables GmbH has selected Entrix as its strategic partner. The Munich-based technology company will market the storage unit across all relevant electricity markets using its AI-based trading platform.

MEAG, asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO Group, has acquired the 92.5 MW / 231 MWh Metelen battery park in North Rhine-Westphalia. Entrix is responsible for the multi-market optimization. The fully merchant-operated battery storage facility is scheduled to be connected to the grid in the second half of 2025 - as the largest plant in the Münsterland region and one of the largest in Germany.
